IDEAS THAT WILL HELP YOU AND YOUR CHILD!
Looking at your child's assignment notebook every night is very important. Why is it important.......because you will know what is happening during the week. After you review the assignment notebook with your child, please write your initials under the correct date. This needs to be checked on a daily basis. Please know what your child is doing at school. Also, look at your child's "Take Home" folder every night. There is a lot of information, papers, and etc. that will be coming home.
Please have your child read at least 20 minutes or more every night. This will help her/him with daily work, self-confidence, and comprehension skills that she/he needs to be a successful student. Also, it is very important to talk with your child about what we did in the classroom everyday.
