My name is Donna Torkelson.  I am the Fine Arts teacher at Westfield.  This is my 32nd year teaching and my seventh year in Fine Arts.  I am very excited about the activities planned for this year! We will have a musical program in each grade level.  Right now I am planning a combined 3rd/4th grade flutophone/recorder concert for April/May, Kindergarten and in December (combined with Choir), and 1st and 2nd Grade in March.  Nothing is set in stone, so look for announcements on this site and notes sent home. We will have our Seventh Annual Fine Arts Fair in May.  I will collect art projects throughout the year for displaying at the Art Fair.  My aim is for each child to have 1-2 projects displayed. I will also have Art Club and Choir this year.  Please look at the links for more information on either club.  We are doing the musical Seussical with the Drama Club.  Art Club will also have projects displayed at the Fine Arts Fair.
