    My name is Matt Brooks, and this is my 21st year teaching in the Winthrop Harbor School District.  During that time I have taught third, fourth and fifth grade.  This year I will be teaching fourth grade again.  I received my undergraduate teaching degree at Northern Illinois University and my masters degree in teaching from The University of St. Francis.  I have three children of my own, all girls!  They are ages 17, 15, and 13.  I understand that sometimes the work load students bring home can seem overwhelming, so if this is the case for you and your child please contact me.  My email is: mbrooks@sta.whsd1.org
