Hello, my name is Mrs. Steuer. I am the self-contained/resource teacher at North Prairie. I was born and raised in Winthrop Harbor and went through the Winthrop Harbor school district. I graduated from Zion-Benton High School in 2001 and went on to Illinois State University. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2005. I taught for 10 years in Mundelein, Illinois before having my daughter in 2015. My family and I moved back to Winthrop Harbor in 2013 and am excited for my daughter to grow up in this amazing school district. I am very excited to be back in my home district working with your kids. Feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns you may have throughout the year.
