Students in 8A and 8B will come to my class for instruction on Social Studies, Language Arts, and Reading. This is my 28th year in the school district (not counting my years here as a student!). After my Cyclone days I was a Zee Bee, then attended Northern Illinois University for my bachelors of Science in Elementary Educaton. I completed part of my student teaching in a suburb of London, England. My first teaching position was in fourth grade in the very same classroom I was in as a fourth grader! During my three years teaching fourth grade I completed my Masters Degree at Carthage (Language Arts & Children's Literature). Next, was a ten year stint as school librarian, followed by my current position in 8th grade.
