Mr. Ted Brooks

Hello,

I'm Ted Brooks and I teach computer literacy for 5th-8th grade.  I see students 3 times a week for approximately 30 minutes each class. Usually one of those periods focusses on using the library or as a silent reading period. The other two class periods focus on some aspect of technology.  One of the major areas of focus is using the "G-Suite" of products; Docs, Sheets, Slides. Forms, Gmail, Youtube, and Sites.  In addition to traditional word processing and spreadsheet skills, students learn how to create and edit video and then post it on Youtube (using proper precautions) and create their own websites with a digital portfolio. We are also learning about creating video projects using Stop Motion Animator and WeVideo to create and edit videos.
