Reading:
We are
studying letters in the alphabet. We are looking at letter formation for
uppercase and lower case letters. The letters start at the top and go to the bottom. We are also studying word awareness, rhyming,
syllables,& beginning sounds.

Writing:
We are
practicing letter formation. This has been very difficult in Kindergarten. We
are also writing in journals daily to practice writing our
thoughts.

Math:
We are studying NUMBERS! We are
counting to 100, matching to number sets, recognizing number symbols, and
practicing number formations.

Parents:
Please
practice letter formation with your child. Have your child write their own name
and words (if needed) on all homework. Do not let them write in uppercase
letters. The only time they use an uppercase letter (1st letter only) is in
names, places, and beginning of a sentence.
